About Us

Our
Story
Since 2012, the Feast has been the worship gathering of the Table. This unique expression of worship has seen many people, locations, and variations. Born as a result of Jeanine and Craig Broek moving into the Platt Park neighborhood of Denver and out of an initiative to plant a new church in that neighborhood, the Feast began on the back patio of their home on S. Corona St. Places we have met have included that covered patio, a bottle shop, the Fleming mansion, Grandma’s House brewery, Platt Park, various homes of Feast attendees, Wash Park Community Center, Platt Park Church basement, and others. Today, we meet in the back room of the Table Public House.
A Ministry in Three Parts

The Feast of The Table
The church was founded by Pastors Craig and Jeanine Broek. We are Reformed in identity, though we are not affiliated with any specific denomination.

The Table Urban Farm
The Table Urban Farm – a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit – has been growing food organically in Denver since 2012. Each year has seen the development of new and improved ways of growing and distributing food, supporting our communities, and embodying grace in the city. The Table Urban Farm grows all of its produce in South Denver neighborhoods, transports and distribute harvests by bicycle, and use only organic growing techniques. The farm grows on a few previously under utilized plots of land.
100% of the food grows is donated back to local Denver communities. To make that possible, the farm runs a community led ambassador program to help farm and distribute food and flowers. The community’s time, energy, and resources help engage neighbors with authentic community, nourishment, and tangible grace.

The Table Public House
The Table Public House is owned and operated by The Table Urban Farm, a local non-profit micro-farm cooperative of backyard gardens that provides healthy food access for our community. The Table Public House serves a deeper purpose of building community through spreading nourishment and grace.Everyone has a seat at The Table. It is a physical location that serves food, craft coffee, beer, cocktails, and wine with an emphasis on the highest quality of ingredients.
Located at 2190 S. Platte River Dr. in a former VFW building on the South Platte River, the Table Public House is a destination for nourishment, community, and grace.
